What is Promise-to-pay automation?

A collections workflow that captures an agreed amount and date, validates the commitment against policy, records it in the system of record, schedules reminders, and detects broken promises.

Also known as: PTP automation

Why does it matter?

A promise has little value if it remains in a transcript. Structured capture connects the conversation to portfolio strategy, follow-up, forecasting, and treatment rules.

What does it look like in practice?

After the consumer agrees to pay on Friday, the agent validates the amount, confirms the date and channel, writes the promise, suppresses conflicting outreach, and reopens treatment automatically if it breaks.

Evaluation guide

What should a buyer ask?

Which promise terms may the agent accept?

  2. 02

Does a promise suppress conflicting outreach immediately?

  3. 03

How are kept and broken promises reconciled with payment data?
